The mechanics
Back what we can build together.
Campaign contracts enforce funding, settlement and refund rules. This page explains the Simple V1 and Milestone V2 models included in this deployment.
Check the deployment
Campaign actions request real wallet signatures on the configured network. Local blockchain ETH is for testing. Read the network and contract address before signing.
The lifecycle
- 01
Publish a plan
A creator publishes campaign terms with a wallet transaction. The contract fixes the goal, fee, deadline and milestone split at deployment.
- 02
Fund into escrow
Contributions are held rather than paid out. Overfunding is allowed in the existing model, and the accepted total is what later refunds are computed from.
- 03
Submit evidence
The first milestone is approved when funding succeeds. Later milestones require the creator to submit an evidence URI; the linked content is a creator claim.
- 01
Review and vote
Backers vote with weight equal to their accepted principal. Reviews run for seven days, with one retry if the first attempt fails.
- 02
Release in stages
A passing vote makes a tranche executable 48 hours later, so anyone who disagrees has time to react before funds move.
- 03
Refund or terminate
A failed or cancelled campaign returns principal. A terminated milestone campaign returns unreleased principal only, from the pool frozen at termination.
Simple and milestone crowdfunding
The contract enforces execution. Review its current state and deployed source before relying on a summary.

Common questions
Do I need a wallet to browse?
No. Reading public campaign state does not require a connected wallet. A browser wallet is required to sign transactions.
How is voting weight calculated?
Weight equals your accepted contribution principal in that campaign. Reputation, badges and circle membership add nothing.
Can abstentions approve a release?
No. Abstentions count toward quorum but never toward approval, and a review with zero Yes and No votes cannot approve.
What happens if a milestone fails twice?
The campaign terminates. Backers can claim the unreleased principal that was frozen at termination; released tranches are not clawed back.
